Safety of Nuclear Power Plant focuses on unintended conditions or events leading to radiological releases. It relates mainly to intrinsic problems and hazards. Nuclear security focuses on international misuse of nuclear materials to cause harm to mankind. The existing challenges related to Nuclear Safety needs local solutions with insights from global experiences. This international workshop, a part of Ignitia 2012, brings together national and international experts of repute. These include renowned academicians and accomplished practitioners. The workshop provides a platform for debating new paradigms for safety of Nuclear Power Plants in India and Abroad.

The agenda includes key issues covering Safety of Nuclear Power Plants:-
