The course emphasizes on planning, designing and building of complex commercial application and system software besides laying due importance on functional knowledge in various areas.

The MCA program is a three year, full-fledged professional grooming program for the aspirants.

Hello Everyone:
Greetings!
Welcome to the Department of Computer Applications [MCA]. The department is focused on providing a strong foundation of core technical competence, which includes problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, research, team work, communication skills, and readiness for lifelong learning. The department is committed to academic excellence, and uses modern pedagogical approaches for facilitating student-centric learning. The department has a team of highly qualified faculty members with rich experience in research, industry and academics. The department emphasizes on technical and corporate training of students to develop the abilities of designing and conducting experiments,as well as improving communication skills. This holistic approach bridges the gap between industry and academia, and increases the employability of the students. For one to one problem solving, we also use the mentor-mentee concept to boost the students at an individual level.

Laboratory and project works are based on global standards of excellence. The main objective of the department is to continuously improve the quality of education, and to facilitate progress towards excellence in teaching and research. Our students have proved themselves by getting excellent placements in reputed companies, and by grabbing University Gold Medal and Silver Medal.
