Global forces are altering the educational landscape as India faces a serious skills shortage in the technology industry. Through the IBM Academic Initiative, IBM in association with PSIT trains students on IBM tools and other skills they will need to compete in the ever changing technology workplace.
PSIT | PSAT has always tried to provide the students with the best of technologies. Software giant IBM has chosen the institute to be their Centre of Excellence.
There is a dedicated IBM lab on-campus where students and faculty are trained on latest technologies based on industry-demands of IBM. These trainings are conducted by experts who are provided byIBM itself. Students and Faculty members are then exposed to certification exams for the technologies they are trained in. We are proud to share that more than 200 PSITians are IBM Certified.
Moreover, students work on IBM TGMC project competition which is held on a national level. Recently, 3 projects of PSIT students have been selected for the final stage.
